Painting the Figure – 8-week course – Starts Aug. 22/23

Time to paint some nudes!  Let’s strip away the excuses that keep us from our painting.  Jump freely into the passion we have for our art.  This term we will be revisiting one of fine arts greatest subjects: The human figure.  Whether you choose to draw or paint, this term Is about re-engaging with the figure.  We will be studying movement and gesture building our artworks around a strong sense of composition and dynamic design.

The class will start with a dynamic gesture drawing.  All you need for the first week is a good-sized sketchbook or drawing pad, and pencils or charcoal.
