Join me this summer for the Alla Prima Portrait Painting Workshop in Portland, OR July 27th – 28th at the Multnomah Art Center located in the quaint Multnomah Village of SW Portland. Surrounded by the bustle of local shops and restaurants in a spacious north lit classroom, it’s the perfect place to solidify your ability to see and paint the portrait. Learn how to go beyond the likeness, and rekindle your creative love of painting.
For the first time in Canada, I will be teaching in the beautiful sea to sky arts town of Whistler, British Columbia. My Portrait Painting Workshop will be August 3rd – 4th where we will focus on painting the portrait from life and refining our ability to see the exquisite facets and plains of the model. Whistler is known for amazing outdoor recreation, restaurants and a great art scene. It’s a magical place to honor your creativity.
On the beautiful Island of Whidbey, Washington in the blue Puget Sound, we will have a Figure Painting Workshop August 15th – 16th. This workshop is located in a beautiful studio with lots of natural light and is the ideal location to relax and expand your knowledge of how to create beautiful paintings and compositions based on the human form.
I am so excited to visit these amazing locations and to have the opportunity to share my 20+ years of painting and teaching experience with you. It’s a great way to solidify time for our artistic practice, to challenge the limits we put on our creativity, and to continue to grow.
